Herbie Sykes, British journalist and author of Rouleur’s “Maglia Rosa” and more recently the award winning “The Race Against The Stasi” said of The Lincoln exhibition…

“Captures the spirit of the race beautifully.”

Four days of cycling. That’s what The Nationals brought to Lincoln.

And it was glorious.

Not only in weather but most importantly, atmosphere.

Beginning with the Kermesse and Time Trials out at Cadwell Park that were dominated by Dowsett’s outstanding win, the following three days moved to historic Lincoln and included a Sportive, Uphill Dash, plus an evening Criterium.

All of this culminated in Sunday’s National Road Race giving us the best days racing Lincoln has ever seen with Lizzie Armitstead and Pete Kennaugh as the 2015 victors.

Described by the commentators as better than a Belgian one day classic

Kennaugh said I haven’t felt like this after a race before – I’m absolutely buckled.

You don’t get better recommendations than that.
